Hi folks,

Just wanted to drop in and say a quick "hello". I have met quite a few of you already, but to those who don't yet know me I am Barry Batts' partner over in Riverside. At the last Neighborhood Association meeting I was elected President, presumably because "King of the Forest" wasn't available.

I know that doesn't mean much but I just brought it up in the hopes that you'll keep me informed of anything going on in the VoC so I can pass it along to the rest of the 'hood.

I don't know that many people in the Riverside portion of the neighborhood, but I thought it might be fun to have a friendly neighbor to neighbor competition and give some business to a local establishment. Say Riverside vs VOC trivia night at Krust? Maybe someone who knows more folks on both sides of Bolton could see who might be interested? Just an idea.

I think that's a fantastic idea!

Barry and I know quite a few folks in the VoC but this would be a great opportunity to meet more. I know Krust has a trivia night already, so I'll ask around in Riverside to see what kind of interest I can muster.

Some of us from Riverside will be at Krust for trivia tonight at 7:30. We hope to see some VoC folks there!

I'd love to see more folks at Krust for Trivia Night. Just for clarification, though, there is already a VOC team that plays there every Wednesday night. We're currently 20th in the city-wide standings and are competing for the City Championship and the prize money. So, if you don't mind, please choose a name other than "The VOC" when playing, just to avoid confusion.

Congratulations and thanks for "jumping in" and getting so involved. As a past Riverside resident and now VOC resident, I am glad to see that new blood continues to get involved!

Great turnout last night. It was cool to meet lots of folks and to see others that I don't get to see often enough.
